In recent years, the continuous integration of new energy vehicles with intelligent and connected technologies has driven rapid advancements in autonomous driving technology. As one of the most important perception sensors in autonomous driving systems, LiDAR is experiencing continuous expansion in its market size. Growing demand from passenger vehicles and driverless cars is a key driver of the automotive LiDAR market. According to forecasts, the LiDAR market size is expected to grow to $6.3 billion by 2027, representing a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 22% from 2022 to 2027.
With the advancement of advanced packaging technologies, the demand for high-performance, high-density, low-thickness capacitors is becoming increasingly urgent. As a high-end capacitor product, silicon capacitors are now widely used in automotive, consumer, optical communications, and other fields. To date, SUNA has collaborated with numerous leading domestic and international enterprises on silicon capacitor products. SUNA's independently built 8-inch silicon capacitor production line was commissioned at the end of 2023. Leveraging this in-house production line, Suna's silicon capacitor products offer advantages including customization, fast response, fast delivery, and low cost.
In LiDAR applications, compared with traditional ceramic capacitor solutions, silicon capacitors can be placed closer to the laser via wire bonding, helping to reduce overall loop ESL, improve pulse waveforms, and ultimately achieve longer detection distances. Furthermore, compared with ceramic capacitors, silicon capacitors offer very high capacitance stability (capacitance remains nearly unchanged under voltage and temperature variations), enabling more stable laser energy output. In addition to single silicon capacitor wire-bonding products, Suna can also customize solutions according to customer requirements, providing high-performance, high-reliability complete solutions.
SUNA sincerely welcomes all new and existing customers to visit and provide guidance.
